The restoration of flooring in historic buildings, such as castles and châteaus requires a particular sense of responsibility.

Therefore, our work always begins with a survey, physical inventory and cataloguing of the existing flooring. After that, most of the flooring is taken to our premises. Refitting is then faithfully carried out in accordance with pictures and source materials.

In special cases, such as the Duchess Anna Amalia Library in Weimar, the historic flooring was not sanded but brushed only and surface-hardened, applying a special technique.
